The Morning Board

The screen everyone opens before first light. It shows who is hunting where, updates live on every phone, and flags stands where the wind is wrong.

Claim, check in, check out

Morning and afternoon hunts, and two people can never claim the same stand
The board switches to the afternoon hunt at 11 AM and to tomorrow morning in the evening
Check in when you reach the stand and check out when you leave, so the club knows who is in the woods
Book ahead, as far out as your admin allows (up to 90 days)
If the connection drops, the board says so rather than showing old claims as current
A reminder an hour before shooting light, and a day ahead if you booked early, so you can release a stand you can’t hunt

Wind check on every stand

Mark the wind directions each stand hunts well on
Set the day’s wind and every stand shows Good wind or Wind risk
Box, ladder, hang-on, climber, ground, pit, and more stand types
Wind compass in the phone app: point your phone and see whether the wind is in your face, at your back, or crossing, and where your scent is carrying

Rest days & safety notes

Rest a stand, a tract, or a stretch of marsh for set dates, or on a repeating schedule like every Tuesday and Thursday
Close just the afternoon (no hunting after 1 PM) or the whole day, and the board won’t let anyone book it
Officers can pin a warning to any stand or blind (old ratchet straps, don’t shoot toward the house) that every member sees before booking
Fold the day, time, and wind controls down to one line when you’re scrolling for a stand

Hunting parties

Add club members or guests to your stand, so the board shows everyone who is out there
After you check out, a quick report records what you shot or what you saw

Live View

Completely optional, every single hunt — off by default, and sharing once never turns it on for next time
Nobody sees your location, your stands, or where you hunt unless you choose to share it that day
Opt in on a hunt-by-hunt basis and see everyone else who opted in on a live map
Your phone location updates automatically while you’re sharing, with a breadcrumb trail
Pick how long to share — a couple hours, or until a set time — and it turns off on its own

Where Should I Hunt?

One tap checks the live wind at each of your properties and ranks your stands. Stands with a good wind always come first, and within those, the ones with the most recent trail cam activity rise to the top.

How it ranks

Live wind direction and speed for each property
Good-wind stands are always ranked above wind-risk stands
Ties go to the stands with the most trail cam sightings in the last 14 days
Each stand shows how often your Hit List bucks have been seen on its cameras, like “Bullwinkle ×5”
Stands someone already claimed for that hunt are marked, so you can see the next best open one

Best days on the calendar

Every day of the month gets a Fair, Good, or Best rating, and tapping a day shows why
Your club’s own history: when members have taken and seen the most game in past seasons
The moon phase, and the 7-day forecast for cold fronts and rising pressure
A planning hint, not a promise. The moon alone never rates a day better than Fair.

Draw your lease once and everyone knows the boundaries. Every stand, camera, and harvest has its place on the map.

Upload photos and videos from any camera or SD card to the camera they came from, linked to its tract and stands
Each shot is tagged automatically with the time it was taken, plus the temperature, conditions, wind speed, and moon phase for that hour

Dues & club money

Everything the treasurer tracks, in the same place the club already checks every day.

Dues

Set the amount and due date, then check a box to log a member as paid — the amount, method, and date, from the Dues tab or the member roster
Members can pay their own dues online too, in any amount — pay it all at once or in chunks, as long as it’s paid in full by the due date
Officers can turn on monthly payment plans club-wide; a member who wants one gets an even monthly schedule leading up to the due date, paid a click at a time
See what is collected and what is still owed, member by member

Guest passes & fees

Host, visit dates, fee, and paid, waived, or canceled status
Each club picks who pays the guest fee: collected in person, paid by the guest’s card when they sign in, or billed to the host member
A guest who owes a card fee can look around but can’t book a stand until it clears
An optional code the guest uses to get on the board
A required liability waiver every guest signs before the pass is issued. A suggested waiver is built in, and officers can edit it.
The signed name, time, and exact wording are kept with the pass

Work-day credit

Set an hourly rate, and approved work hours come off that member’s dues automatically
Credit goes to this year’s dues first, then next year’s, and never more than they owe
Members can’t approve their own hours, and an officer’s own hours need another officer or the admin

Split costs & collect payments

Split a project’s cost among the members who are in, evenly or by percentage, down to the penny
Or skip the split — any member can log what they actually spent, and it auto-totals, or just pledge what they’re willing to chip in
Record shares paid in cash or check, or let members pay by card
Members can also send the club money for anything, with a note
Card payments go straight to the club’s own bank account through Stripe. The person paying covers card processing plus a 1% service fee.

Bill members

The Treasurer bills members directly: a missed work day, a missed fundraiser, a fine, or an assessment
Bill several members at once, or pick a work day on the calendar and bill the no-shows; members who logged hours that day are left off
Each bill has a due date and an optional note; members get a notification and an email, a reminder 3 days before it’s due, and one if it’s overdue
Members pay by card or pay the Treasurer, and can send a question about a bill with one tap
